European Summer Styled Wedding
This European-Inspired styled wedding shoot planned by Natalie Johnson Photography and LS Planning was a scene straight out of a dream. Planned at the Oxbow Estate in Clayton, North Carolina, and on a day where the weather was threatening storms, it could not have turned out more beautiful.
The vision was a European-inspired wedding day, with a picturesque backdrop, a romantic color palette, and a bridal look straight out of a magazine. Everything came together perfectly to make it just that!
The Details:
From the gorgeous floral designs by Jade Floral Co that were wild and romantic, to the gorgeous Steve Madden bridal shoes, to the lovely and romantic stationery by Willow and Oak Paper Co, every detail was so important to elevating this shoot.
The floral design, with a mix of deep reds, greens, and shades of light pink effortlessly complemented the venue, the bridal style, and the warmth of Natalie’s photography. The florals on the arch outdoors, the table setting, and the bouquet all came together to add a touch of romance and timelessness to the day.
The stationery had deep olives and shades of pink, perfect to match the small wedding details. The organic and timeless feel of the invitations sets made the perfect feel for the flat lay shots by Natalie.
Every detail was so well thought out and executed by LS Planning. The table setting had the most amazing details — real fruits, florals, and taper candles to add warmth to the setting. It matched perfectly with the vibe of the venue to create the perfect European-inspired day!
The Bridal Looks:
The bridal looks were brought together by Sero Bridal, Natalie Johnson, and CaraLee Videography. The photographer and videographer came to the Hickory, NC wedding dress shop to find the perfect wedding dresses for their European-inspired vision that complemented the details they already had settled.
They chose a beautiful and elegant lace wedding dress, Bellamy, and a floral-printed wedding dress with a corset top, Greer, both designed by Serene Bridal.
Bellamy, a wedding gown inspired by a garden party, boasts an elegant and delicate lace design, an unlined bodice, and a high slit. Each of these things can be customized and changed for any bridal look (as well as detachable sleeves being included), but these details made the dress the perfect fit for this shoot. The lace is straight out of a European dream, and the A-line slitted look was elegant with a little bit of edge and a unique touch. Greer, one of Serene Bridal’s best sellers (for good reason!) was the star of the show. With floral printed satin, a corset bodice, and an elegant ballgown fit, this made for the perfect European-inspired wedding dress. This wedding dress screams elegance and fit the style of the shoot and the venue so well. Greer also has pockets and has the option to be made in plain satin, as well being offered in a fitted version, making it the perfect versatile wedding dress for any wedding style.
